‌Anhui Team Renews Its Journey: Fu's Subcutaneous Needling (FSN) Dedication at the Foot of Mt. Jingting

‌Anhui FSN Medical Team Participates in Free Clinic Event at Xuancheng People's Hospital: A Record

    On the afternoon of May 23, 2025, a delegation of three FSN experts—Chief Physician Wang Zheng (Director of the FSN Branch, Anhui Association of Chinese Medicine), Associate Chief Physician Du Zhengjun (Secretary-General), and Deputy Secretary-General Kang Chuanyi (FSN Branch, Anhui General Practitioners Association)—participated in the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Rehabilitation Medicine Branch of the Anhui General Practitioners Association and conducted an FSN free clinic at Xuancheng People's Hospital.

‌Xuancheng, strategically positioned at the eastern gateway of southern Anhui, borders Nanjing, Jiangsu to the north and connects with Hangzhou, Zhejiang to the east. Boasting profound cultural heritage and convenient transportation, the city hosted the free clinic in the outpatient hall of Xuancheng People's Hospital during the drizzly late-May rainfall. The hospital's meticulous pre-event publicity ensured immediate patient engagement—no sooner were consultation stations arranged than queues formed. Attendees presented diverse conditions including:Post-stroke sequelae,Lumbar disc herniation,Cervical spondylosis,Chronic knee joint pain,Heel pain syndrome,Periarthritis of shoulder (Frozen shoulder),Cold Sensitivity Syndrome,Even patients with persistent postherpetic neuralgia sought treatment.

‌In accordance with the hospital's systematic arrangements, patients meeting indications for FSN therapy were directed to two outpatient treatment rooms in the Rehabilitation Department on the first floor. The virtually painless procedures delivered remarkably effective outcomes, garnering widespread recognition, trust, and acclaim from patients. Simultaneously, FSN therapy captured the attention of rehabilitation physicians. What was particularly encouraging was its attraction of master-trained physicians from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, who participated in clinical shadowing sessions.

 ‌Guided by the philosophy of "Minimal Intervention with Sincerity, Simplicity, Diligence and Benevolence", Anhui's Fu's Subcutaneous Needling (FSN) medical team has traversed all 16 prefecture-level cities across the province over the past two years. They conducted over 50 lecture-demonstration sessions on FSN therapy at provincial/municipal and county-level hospitals, attracting cumulative participation from more than 5,000 physicians.‌

‌The team has been repeatedly invited to deliver FSN lectures at Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, fostering academic exchange with future practitioners. Currently, FSN therapy has been formally adopted by multiple influential Class-III Grade-A TCM hospitals, including:Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine;Anhui Acupuncture Hospital;Taihe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

‌During the recent outreach to Xuancheng in southeastern Anhui, initial development trends of FSN therapy are observed in:Jingxian County Hospital of TCM,Langxi County Hospital of TCM,Xuancheng Central Hospital.

‌Clinical departments implementing FSN include Acupuncture, Rehabilitation, and Orthopedics across these institutions.
